Here’s A List Of State-wise Election Dates For Lok Sabha Elections 2019

The Election Commission has announced that the 17th Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases starting from April 11, followed by the counting of votes on May 23. The elections will be held for 543 seats across nearly 10 lakh polling booths in the country with the number of voters to reach to almost 90 crores.

These assembly elections will be held in 4 states i.e. Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha.

Lok Sabha Elections 2019

The primary parties in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 are Indian National Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party, and Bahujan Samaj Party.

Here is the list of the current ruling parties in the different states:

Andra Pradesh – TDP

Arunachal Pradesh – BJP

Delhi – AAP

Assam – BJP+AGP+BPF

Bihar – BJP+JD(U)+LJP+RLSP

Chhattisgarh – INC

Goa – BJP+MGP+GFP

Gujarat, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh – BJP

Jharkhand – BJP+AJSU

Karnataka – INC+JD(S)+BSP

Kerala – CPI(M)+CPI+JD(S)+NCP+INC(S)+KC(B)+CMP

Madhya Pradesh – INC+BSP+SP

Maharashtra – BJP+SS+RSP

Uttar Pradesh – BJP+AD(S)+SBSP

Uttarakhand – BJP

West Bengal – TMC.

State-wise Lok Sabha Election Dates 2019:

Phase 1 (91 seats, 20 States) on April 11

Will be held in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Lakshadweep.

Phase 2 ( 97 seats, 13 States) on April 18

Will be held in Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Puducherry.

Phase 3 (115 seats, 14 States) on April 23

Will be held in Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu.

Phase 4 (71 seats, 9 States) on April 29

Will be held in Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

Voters 2019

Phase 5 (51 seats, 7 States) on May 6

Will be held in Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Phase 6 (59 seats, 7 States) on May 12

Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Phase 7 (59 seats, 8 States) on May 19

Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal, Chandigarh (UT), Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
