But a person who does not have voter ID  now has the chance to get their ID card online through using the Chief Electoral Officer CEO official website of Uttar Pradesh. Voter ID card is not only a card but also it’s an identification card which you can use for various purpose like in banking services, as your address proof, for your photo ID along with government and non-government services. Any citizen who is having permanent residence in Uttar Pradesh state and  is above 18 years can get a Voter ID card. You also have to show your date of birth certificate but if you don’t having it in that case you can also use your metric pass documents to proof your age that you are above than 18 years old.

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) also supervises the election work related to Assembly and Parliament elections of the State.

Citizens of Uttar Pradesh are also able to search their name in Voter ID list. In case you had submitted your form 6 to get the voter ID card and still didn’t have any response then use official page of CEO UP where you can check your name in list.

How to search your name in Voter ID list of Uttar Pradesh State –

To check your name first visit to the official page of www.ceouttarpradesh.nic.in then select the option of “Search Your Name” now you will get this page Where you will get three options.

• District Wise

• Assembly Const. wise

• Mohalla / Area Wise

Now select the option from which you want to check your name in voter list of Uttar Pradesh CEO.

District Wise – To check the District wise first you will have to select the your district name from pull down menu and after that enter your “EPIC NO” or “NAME” after that click to the search button and get full information.

Assembly Const. Wise – In this section you will have to select your district name from and after that select your AC now select the option from which you want to check your name in voter list of Uttar Pradesh there are two options available via “EPIC NO” and via “NAME” then click to the submit button and get details.

Mohalla / Area Wise – Here you need to select first your district and after that enter your mohalla name and get full information and check your name in voter list.

How to Get Voter ID Card in UP via Online –

To make your Voter ID card in Uttar Pradesh you have to fill form number 6. The online facility for new voter ID card is available through the official website of CEO UP. You should visit the www.ceouttarpradesh.nic.in website and select the option of “Online Voters Registration System” then you will get the page of www.eci-citizenservices.nic.in here you will get a login page. The current page will have 4 parts as follows:

  1. Officer Contact List
  2. Online Application
  3. New User Registration
  4. Forgot Password

Officer Contact List – Through the Officer Contact list you can get the contact information of your nearby officer which is available. He is also known as BLO (board level officer)

Online Application – In the section of application you need to check the page where you can download the form to know about your officers and can get the application form for complaint.

New User Registration – If you are a new user and just has crossed 18 years age then click to the option of new user registration here you will get a page. You have to enter your mobile number along with your e-mail ID.

Mobile number is compulsory to fill.

After that you will get a confirmation code and then fill the application form online with your required documents

The following documents can be used – Passport/ Driving License/ Pan-card/ Aadhaar Card

Residence Proof:

The following documents can be used –

first preference:

• Bank/Kisan/Post office current Pass Book

• Bank statement from Nationalized (i.e. Government) bank

• Applicant‘s Passport/Driving License/Income Tax Assessment Order

• Latest Water/Telephone/Electricity/Gas Connection Bill for that address either in the name of the applicant or that of his/her immediate relation like parents. ( If document is in the name of immediate relation for e.g. father’s name, then a document showing the relationship should be kept. For example driving license containing father’s name)

Second Preference:

If you do not have any of the First Preference Documents, then you should submit 2 of the below documents

• Ration Card

• Bank statement of any non-nationalized bank

• Notarized Rent Agreement

Date of Birth (DOB) Proof:

The following documents can be used (This is required Only if your age is between 18 year to 21 years. It is not required if you are older than 21 years.)

• Passport/ Driving License/ Pan-card

• Class 10 mark sheet

• Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Authorities or District Office of the Register of Births & Deaths or Baptism Certificate

• Birth Certificate from the school (Govt. /Recognized) last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution

• A certificate of his age given by a Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat or by a member of the concerned Municipal Corporation /Municipal Committee.

Form 8: Application for objection to particulars entered in electoral roll.

Form 8A: Application for transposition of entry in electoral roll.

Form 002: Application for Duplicate Elector’s Photo Identity Card.

Form 18 Hindi: Claim for Inclusion of Name in the Electoral Roll for Graduates’ Constituency.

Form 18 English: Claim for Inclusion of Name in the Electoral Roll for Graduates’ Constituency.

Form 19 Hindi: Claim for Inclusion of Name in the Electoral Roll for Teachers’ Constituency.

Form 19 English: Claim for Inclusion of Name in the Electoral Roll for Teachers’ Constituency.

Uttar Pradesh elects maximum of 80 members to the Lok Sabha. It will see a polling spread over six days in April-May. The balloting will take place on April 10, 17, 24 and 30 and May 7 and 12.

    Sir, I am retired (VRS) Asstt. Manager from State Bank of India. I want to know – Is it permissible to make Voter IDs with correct and latest details and genuiness by person interested with Govt. approval and as per Govt. guidelines. Pl advice by e-mail to whom should I contact for this purpose in Distt. Ghazia bad.
