• Go to the Election Commission of India’s Online Portal for Voters, National Voters Service portal (NVSP).

• So briefly, form6 is for a New Voter residing in India and form6a is for New Overseas Voter. (Overseas Voters are those Indian Citizens who are living in a foreign country and not possessing the citizenship of that foreign Nation)

How To Fill Form 6 For Voter ID Online 2016

• On the top of the page, select your Languages. The default languages are English and Hindi.
• Select your State and Assembly or Parliament Constituency
• Enter Your Full name and surname in the respective boxes without mistakes.
• Select your gender and Date Of Birth or Age.
• Enter the details of your Place of Birth.
• Enter Father’s name or Mother’s name or Husband’s Name and type the relation with them in respective fields.
• Enter your Complete Address with Pincode. (Current address)
• Enter your Mobile Number and email ID.
• Enter the details of the member’s of you Family who were already issued EPIC.
• Upload your Photograph, Identity Proof and Address Proof.

How To Fill form6a To Get Voter ID Card 2016 For Overseas Voters

• Form6 and form6a are almost same. In form6a in addition to the above details in form6, you are supposed to fill the details of your Passport, Visa etc. Let us see how to fill form6a to get Voter ID Online 2016.
• After filling the form till the Address field, Enter your passport details like Passport Number, Place and Date of issue, date of Expiry of the Passport.
